Hello friends! A major part of The Brandermill Church Children's Clothing and Toy Consignment Sale is to provide goods to ministries both here and abroad. Routinely we provide 6-12 grocery bags of clothing to the Friends of Barnabas Foundation. They take the clothing with them to Honduras and pass it out to families who come to their medical clinic.
If, as you are tagging, you come across clothing that is wearable but not sell-able (faded, stained, ETC), please consider pulling it out for the Friends of Barnabas. Place it in a grocery bag and label the bag clearly for Honduras. We will be happy to pass it on for you. Please see below for a list of what is needed.
Also, we have taken boxes of books to Chesterfield County Social Services after each sale. These books are placed in the waiting room, and the children are encouraged to take one with them as they leave. These books may be the only ones found in some children's homes. If you would like to donate books to this project, please place them in a bag clearly marked Social Services.
Bring these donations with you to drop off on Thursday, and ask for Cori. Anyone in a purple shirt should be able to direct you to me.
All donations are tax deductible. I will be happy to help you with that process.
Thank you for being a part of the BCCS. Proceeds from the sale have impacted families here in Chesterfield County and around the world!
